Foxlow in Balham is a parents dream come true. Across the road from Milk which often has a queue blocking Hildreth street, comparatively Foxlow has much more space, they’re incredibly laid back, don’t bat an eye at a buggy and honestly I think the food is better. Plus they’ve got a license so you can get a cocktail. Thank god.

What’s good? At brunch the chicken, egg and croissant waffles.

Kid friendly? Totally. They’ve even got baby change facilities.
